Disassembly/exchange
Applied electric voltage and high pressure!
Danger of injury from electric shocks and sudden
pressure drops.
O Turn off the operating voltage and compressed air
supply.
O Observe the stipulated precautionary measures
when working with ESD-sensitive assemblies.
To exchange the bus coupler:
1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the bus
coupler (2).
2. Loosen the bus coupler (2) (2 hexagon socket head
screws DIN 912 – M4 (1), wrench size 4).
3. Remove the bus coupler (2) from the EP end plate (4).
4. Push the new bus coupler (2) onto the EP end
plate (4).
5. Make sure that seal (3) is fitted correctly.
6. Screw down the bus coupler (2) (2 hexagon socket
head screws DIN 912 – M4 (1) each, wrench size 4).
Tightening torque 3.0 + 0.5 Nm.
7. Make all the presettings on the new bus coupler (2)
(see "Making settings" on page 65).
8. Re-establish the electric connections.
9. Check the configuration and adjust it if necessary
(see "Configuring the bus coupler" on page 74).
