Apply epoxy in the opening for the hinges using a toothpick. Also
apply epoxy to the hinges where they fi t into the holes in the rudder.
Fit the hinges into the rudder, aligning them as noted earlier in this
section. Allow the epoxy to fully cure before proceeding.

Once the epoxy has cured, check the operation of the hinges.
Remove any epoxy that may be interfering with the hinges. Apply
epoxy to the hinges and into the holes in the fi n.

Fit the rudder to the fi n. Use a paper towel and isopropyl alcohol
to remove any excess epoxy before it can cure.

Check that the rudder can move freely. Center the rudder and
allow the epoxy to fully cure before proceeding.
