CAUTION:
Do not cause damage to the tip of the pilot
screw by over-tightening it.
5. Adjust:
•
Pilot screw
Adjusting steps
(1) Screw in the pilot screw until it is lightly
seated.
(2) Back out by the specified number of
turns.
Pilot screw turn-out
1 - 1/4 ± 3/4
INSTALLING THE CARBURETOR
1. Install:
•
Gasket
•
Carburetor
•
O-ring
•
Intake silencer

Bolt
NOTE:
Insert the projection of choke lever
the choke knob hole
2. Measure:
•
Engine idle speed
Out of specification → Adjust.
Engine idle speed
1,100 ± 50 r/min
