The devices in the RIVA kit and other optional accessories are part of
the Nice Home automation system and are designed to automate a
swing gate for residential use.
The kit consists of two electromechanical gear motors in direct current
at 24 V
; they are equipped with a mechanical release with key that
allows the gate to be moved manually in the event of a power failure.
A control unit manages the operation of the entire automation system.
The control unit is connected to the photocells via the ECSbus system
(a single cable with two electrical conductors).
The control unit can be powered by the mains (230 V~) or by the SOL-
EKIT photovoltaic system from the Nice Home range. When powered
by the mains, it can accommodate a backup battery (model PRS100
- not supplied) which ensures that the automation system can perform
certain operations in the hours following a power failure.
