TROUBLESHOOTING
The gate would not move, the buzzer is emitting an alternating sound for 1 minute, and one of
the LED EDGE PHOT is blinking red/green.
The gate would not move, the buzzer is emitting an alternating sound for 1 minute, and one of
the LED EDGE PHOT is blinking red/green, OR
the gate is trying to open/close, but stops almost immediately, the buzzer is emitting an
alternating tone for 1 minute, and one of the LED EDGE PHOT is blinking red/green.
All of the LEDs on the MASTER Wi-Fi OS are off
During memorization of the safety devices the buzzer sounds for 3/5 second
During memorization of the safety devices the buzzer sounds 2 twice
When giving a command the buzzer sounds 3 times
When giving a command the buzzer sounds 4 times
The buzzer sounds 5 times when the strip connected to the photocell receiver is pressed
When giving a command the buzzer sounds 5 times
The buzzer emits a sound every 3 seconds for 1 minute and one of the EDGE PHOT leds is ignited
red fixed
The gate doesn't move, the buzzer emits a sound every 3 seconds for 1 minute and one of the
EDGE PHOT LEDs lights flashing red
LED DL2 is off and one of the LED EDGE PHOT emits a steady green light
LED DL2 is ON, LED DL3 is OFF. Giving a command one of the EDGE LED lights up and blinks green/
red, the gate does not move, and the buzzer emits an alternating tone for one minute.
Or
the gate starts to open/close and then stops. Buzzer emits an alternating tone for one minute.
The buzzer does not sound when the batteries are removed from the strip
The door does not open or close and one of the EDGE PHOT LED emits a steady green light
The door does not open or close, the buzzer emits a sound every 3 seconds and the blinker
flashes 2 times followed by a pause of 3 seconds for 1 minute and one EDGE PHOT LED lights
flashing red
The edge connected to the transmitter or receiver of the photocell does not act as a safety
PROBLEM
If two MASTER Wi-Fi OS, installed at a distance less than 20 m between them, are commanded
simultaneously, their communication and check signals with the accessories can overlap and
interfere with each other, causing the systems to go into alarm.
Move the two MASTER Wi-Fi OS away from each other over the 20 m.
No communication between MASTER Wi-Fi OS and one of the safety devices:
- Connect an 868MHz antenna (code ACG5451) to MASTER Wi-Fi OS to ensure correct
communication between MASTER Wi-Fi OS and the installed safety devices.
Attention: The aerial must be placed in sight of all the safety accessories installed, at a
distance of at least 2 m from them.
If the indication of failure persists, check charge level of the batteries, and if low, replace them.
Ensure that 12 or 24 V ac/dc power is present to the power feed terminals of the MASTER Wi-Fi
OS
It has been tried to memorize a safety device with wrong DIP setted.
Check that the number of the EDGE PHOT LED flashing on MASTER Wi-Fi corresponds to the
number of the DIP set on the safety device to be memorized.
A safety device is already in the memory
- No safety device has been memorized, memorize at least one, OR
- The DIP switches of the safety devices memorized on the MASTER Wi-Fi OS board are set to
OFF. Set them to ON
Possible missing connections between MASTER Wi-Fi OS and control panel:
- Missing connection of the flasher output of the control panel to the MASTER, OR
- Missing connection of the yellow or green wires to EDGE 1 or EDGE 2 on the panel, OR
- Missing connection of the black wire to PHOTO 1 on the panel
Error in configuring the edge contact on the NOVA Wi-Fi receiver
- 8,2KΩ resistance not connected in series with the N.C. contact of the strip connected to the
photocell receiver, OR
- Wires detached on the strip with N.O. contact, OR
- 8,2KΩ resistance not connected in series with the N.C. contact of the strip, OR
- Wires detached on the strip with N.O. contact connected to the photocell receiver
Replace the batteries of the photocell(s) or the strip(s) as they are almost empty
Replace the batteries of the photocell(s) or the strip(s) as they are empty
- Wires detached on the strip with N.C. contact or
- Ensure that there is resistance of 8,2kΩ in series with the N.O. contact of the strip connected
to the photocell receiver
MASTER programmed with only TOUCH Wi-Fi 2.0 edges.
Remove the black wire of the MASTER from PHOTO 1 on the control panel and if there are no wired
photocells, jumper the COM/PHOTO 1 on the control panel.
Ensure that the DIP on the MASTER Wi-Fi OS corresponding to the strip is in the ON position
- Photocell is not aligned or it is engaged. Batteries in the photocell transmitter are exhausted,
OR
- 8,2kΩ resistance is not connected in series with the N.C. contact or in parallel with the N.O.
contact of the strip connected to the photocell transmitter, OR
- 8,2kΩ resistance is not connected in parallel with the N.O. contact of the strip connected to
the photocell transmitter
Photocell receiver or strip batteries are empty
Check the jumpers on the transmitter or receiver of the photocell.
If the jumpers are set correctly, remove and replace the batteries.
