CNG- INSTALLATION
1
before commisioning machine
Ensure a safe working environment. Before using the machine:
Check the machine for possible gas leaks (via odor detection/
visual detection) by opening the protective hood / cap.
2
Filling CNG tank
The cleaner is equipped by two CNG tanks (master/slave tank), and will be
delivered with empty tanks. Fill the tank with the right CNG gas before the first
use (see "L-gas and H-gas" on page 14 ). The machines can work on both
gas types. You can fill up with CNG the same way as with other fuels: at the
pump station via the filler gun that you connect to the machine. Use the black
filler cap on the machine (located between the 2 reels) to fill up with CNG (see
images left). You do this by pulling the protective cap off the filler coupling.
Follow the filling instructions from the CNG station. Only fill when the machine is
switched off! After completing the filling process, carefully unlock and remove
the filler coupling. Push the protective cap back over the filling opening. An
additional non-return valve is also provided on the filling coupling (protection
against dirt and gas backflow). If the CNG level of the tanks is low, a message
will appear on the screen! Respect the fill capacity of the CNG tank(s). Always
check that the tanks are properly secured in the holders (quick release swivel
bolt band clamp) before use. The filling coupling in the neighbourhood of the
tank (see picture on next page (D) ) may not be used!
Never remove the high pressure filling coupling from the
fillneck. Do not unlock the filling coupling until the complete
filling process and the corresponding release signal from the
filling station have been completed. Loosening or removing
the high-pressure filler coupling can destroy and blow out the
inner sealing ring in the fillneck and lead to serious injury. It is
essential to follow the safety instructions of the filling station!
CNG (compressed natural gas) is an explosive and flammable
fuel. The tank should only be filled in a well- ventilated outdoor
area with engine turned off. Do not smoke in the gas station area!
Use only approved hoses and couplings for CNG gas! Batteries
produce explosive hydrogen gases during charging. Keep sparks,
open flames and other ignition sources away at all times.
