- Replace the burner cover (fig.20 item M) carefully, making sure
that there are no cracks through which unfiltered air might pass.
5.15 CHANGING OR CLEANING THE BURNER HEAD
NOTE! To maintain always the nominal power, the head of the
burner must be cleaned at least once a year. During this
operation check that the lighter and the flame detector are in the
correct position (see picture 48); if not, change them as per the
procedure at the point 5.14.
Over time, dust may tend to block the burner head, and as a result the
appliance will no longer achieve the power levels foreseen. In this
case, after carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to
change or clean the burner head proceed as follows:
- Remove the burner cover (fig. 20 item M).
- Dismantle the burner head, change it or clean it with compressed
air, blowing the burner head mesh thoroughly in the direction
indicated in fig. 49 and making sure that all the dust comes out on the
opposite side.
- Make sure that the lighter and flame detector are at the correct
distances (fig. 48).
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble,
making sure that the sheet metal closing element (fig. 47 item C) and
other points in the casing contain no cracks through which unfiltered
air might pass. If any cracks are found, they must be sealed using
silicone for high temperatures.
- After completing connection, with the appliance started up, perform
a gas seal test, paying particular attention to the areas on which work
has been carried out, using a special, non-corrosive gas leak indicator
spray. Never use a naked flame when looking for possible gas
leaks.
- Turn the appliance off.
- Replace the burner cover (fig.20 item M) carefully, making sure
that there are no cracks through which unfiltered air might pass.
WARNING! Proper and regular cleaning of the burner air filter
as described in point 4.3 will prevent loss of performance and
ensure the safety of the appliance.
5.16 CHANGING COMBUSTION GROUP COMPONENTS
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1 above, to change
combustion group components proceed as follows:
- Remove the burner cover (fig. 20 item M).
- Remove the component in question and replace it.
WARNING! If you replace the VENTURI CONE, use a large
screwdriver to turn the gas regulator on the new one until you
obtain the value X = see TAB.1 technical data for the type of gas
supplied (paragraph 3).
Check this value X precisely using a CALIBRE and seal the gas
regulator with a drop of red heat-resistant paint.
- After changing any of the components in the combustion group, the
following settings must be carried out on the gas valve:
- Turn the gas supply tap on.
- Loosen the retention screw inside the gas valve outlet pressure
takeoff (fig. 27 item T)
- Connect the pressure gauge to the pressure takeoff, after making
sure it has been zeroed.
- Turn the appliance on as indicated in the instructions.
- On start-up the pressure value initially changes. Wait until the
burner is lit, then check the pressure at that point, which must be 0
mbar. If this is not the case, remove the cap (fig. 28 item U) and
adjust the screw beneath it (fig. 28 item Z) until the pressure
indicates 0 mbar.
- Turn the appliance of as described in the instructions.
- Remove the pressure gauge.
- Tighten the retaining screw on the pressure takeoff (fig. 27 item T)
and replace the cap in the gas valve (fig. 28 item U)
- After completing connection, with the appliance started up, perform
a gas seal test, paying particular attention to the areas on which work
has been carried out, using a special, non-corrosive gas leak indicator
spray. Never use a naked flame when looking for possible gas
leaks.
- Turn the appliance off.
- Reseal the gas valve cap with a drop of red heat-resistant paint.
- Replace the burner cover (fig.20 item M) carefully, making sure
that there are no cracks through which unfiltered air might pass.
5.17 CHANGING
SHIELDS
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to change the
combustion chamber shields proceed as follows:
- Remove the rear panel (fig. 38 item D) by unfastening the fixing
screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connections to the motor.
- Remove the braid clamping strip by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Move the insulation and dismantle the rear cooking chamber panel
by unfastening the fixing screws.
- For the rear shield, unfasten the 4 fixing screws and take out the
shield through the fan air intake opening.
- For the front shield, dismantle the belt and the blowers as described
in point 4.2.1, unfasten the 4 lock nuts and take out the shield
through the fan air intake opening.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble (see
also point 4.2.2).
- Restore any part of the insulating material that may have been
damaged, and isolate it with aluminium adhesive tape suitable for
high temperatures.
5.18 GENERAL RESET PROCEDURE
If any electronic malfunctions are encountered, or when one of the
electronic cards is replaced, it is advisable to carry out a general
reset.
Access the parameters menu by pressing the OK and down arrow
buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds (fig. 31 items 13 and 10).
Press the up-down-right arrows simultaneously for 5 seconds (fig.
31 items 9, 10 and 11) to carry out a general reset, which restores the
parameters to the default values (this will be confirmed by a number
of beeps).

The reset also zeros the clock, which will have to be reset.
NOTE! If a temperature of 699 is shown on screen, this is not a
malfunction that requires a reset. It simply indicates that the
temperature detection thermocouple is disconnected.
5.19 DISMANTLING
When the appliance or its parts are dismantled, the various
components must be divided according to type of material, and then
disposed of in compliance with current laws and regulations.
