STARTING UP
WARNING! SHOULD YOU SMELL GAS:

ANY
APPLIANCE

- TURN THE GAS SUPPLY OFF AT THE EXTERNAL
MANUAL STOP COCK NEAREST TO THE GAS METER.

OUTSIDE
AND
IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CONTACT
THEM, CALL THE FIRE BRIGADE.
- IF YOU CAN DO SO IN SAFETY, VENTILATE THE
ROOMS.
WARNING!
- Never allow unauthorised persons to approach the oven.
- Take particular care never to touch moving parts with your
arms, hair, bracelets, rings, tools, clothing, etc. or with any parts
that might become hooked up, because in spite of the low speed
at which the conveyor belt turns there is a risk of being dragged
and crushed by movement of the belt itself.
- In particular, the glass in the front door, the adjustable side walls
and the conveyor become extremely hot when the appliance is
working. They must never be touched as they might cause burns; if
more than one chamber is positioned on top of each other, the upper
chambers may become hot. Do not touch the outside of these
chambers as there is a risk of burning.
The two parameters to be set for cooking are: the temperature and the
cooking time (time taken by the product to travel through the
cooking chamber, directly dependent on the speed of the belt).
To establish the optimum temperature and cooking time, change one
variable at a time.
Generally speaking, raising the temperature
makes food crisper, while extending the time increases actual
cooking.
It is possible to store up to 20 different cooking programs, which can
be called up and/or modified at any time.
The functions also include an "Economy" or energy-saving function,
to be used during pauses in cooking, and a "Lock" function, which
only allows access to a whole series of operations using a password,
this allowing the appliance to be used even by untrained staff.
The "Timer" function is not enabled for the gas version.
3.6.1
SETTING THE LANGUAGE:
To set the language (Italian, English, French, German and Spanish),
press the "left arrow" and "up arrow" buttons simultaneously (fig.
31 items 12 and 9), then select the language, using the up and down
arrow buttons to move; press OK to confirm.
The control unit can be set to show the temperature in degrees
Centigrade or in degrees Fahrenheit, to change the setting see point
5.11, to adjust the contrast on the screen see point 5.12.
3.6.2
SCREEN (fig.31)
The oven is turned on by setting the main switch (fig.29 item N) to
position "1" .
When the control unit is turned on, after a few seconds a page similar
to the one shown in fig. 30 is displayed.
1) date and time
2) set point temperature
3) working mode ( manual or program)
4) indication of the Lock function status
5) cooking time (time taken by the product to pass through the oven)
6) indication of the belt status
7) indication of the Economy function status
8) temperature detected
At the top left (black on white) the date and time; again at the top but
slightly further right, indication of the current working mode (manual
or program) and the lock icon indicating whether or not the Lock
function is enabled.
Immediately below two distinct areas divide the screen in half. On
the left hand side are the temperature values, both set point and
actual temperature. The flame icon is completely black when the
burner is active. On the right hand side of the screen the elements
displayed will vary according to the situation, but generally speaking
they will always include the cooking time (crossing time) and the
belt icon (in four different conditions: moving, stopped, cooking or
preheating).
Further down, again on the right, is the indicator showing whether or
not the "Economy" function is inserted.
To adjust the screen contrast see point 5.12.

settings for the last cooking operation carried out. The mode used for
the previous cooking operation is shown at the top right. manual or
pre-set program.
If you wish to start cooking, press "Start". A request to press OK will
appear on screen, then the burner, the belt and the fan inside the oven
will start up. On the screen, the icon representing the belt will start to
move and wavy lines representing the oven heating phases appear;
this icon will continue to be present until the oven reaches the set
point temperature.

SETTING
PARAMETERS:
This function can only be accessed if the "Lock" function has not
been enabled !!
If you do not want to start the oven but want to change the setting of
one of the two parameters (temperature, cooking time), use the arrow
buttons. Each time you press one of the buttons: left arrow or right
arrow will select (highlight in black) one of the two values.
Once you have selected the parameter required, use the up and down
arrow buttons to change the value.
NOTE! The above operation can also be carried out during cooking,
and in both cases, if a generic program is being run when a
modification to one of the parameters is requested, you will "quit"
this program and automatically revert to "manual" mode.

to pass the product through the oven will be even.
