luminose, inferiore, innalza la tensione
limitandone la durata.

REGOLATORE DI TENSIONE
Verificare l'efficienza
come segue (Fig. 54 ) :
- Controllare i collegamenti.
- Inserire un amperometro da 15 Ami:;. a
corrente continua tra il cavo rosso
dall'alternatore ed il corrispondente
morsetto (30 ) motorino.
- Inserire un volmetro da 20 Volt a cor­
rente continua tra i morsetti della
batteria.
- Se necessario, avviare alcune vGlte il
motore finchè
batteria scende al d: sotto di 14 Volt.
Con la tensione della batteria inferiore
a 14 Volt, la corrente misurata dall 'am­
perometro deve essere:
5 + 6 A.
4 � 5 A.
3,5� 4 A.
A regime massimo la tensione della batte­
ria deve raggiungere il limite di 15 Volt
mentre la corrente all'amperometro deve
scendere sino a 2 Amp.
Se al variare della tensione la corrente
nc,n diminuisce, sosti tu ire il regolatore.
Se con tensione della batteria inferiore
a 14 Volt la corrente di carica è nulla
sostituire il regolatore e verificare le
condizioni di carica.

VOLTAGE REGULATOR
Check efficiency of regulator as follows
(Fig. 54):
- Check connections.
- Insert in circuit a 15 Amp. d.c. amme-
ter between red cable of alternator and
corresponding terminal connector
of starting motor.
- Insert a 20 V d. c. vol tmeter between
battery terminal connectors.
- If necessary, start engine a few times
till battery voltage drops below 14
Volts.
