22) VISTA SW 260 MASTER/SLAVE Fig. 18
VISTA SW 260 Master/Slave is a connection between two automations for dual leaf doors.
You can perform this connection in two ways:
1. with or without overlapping with two single VISTA SW 260, each installed on a leaf but performing the connection between them Fig. 18.a
2. with two single VISTA SW 260 joint with each other by an extension kit Fig. 18.2:
22.2) BOARD CONNECTION Fig. 18.3
Through a connection between the terminal boxes of the selector, they communicate with each other and exchange the information required for the dual leaves to
operate properly. The base concept is defi ning a "Master" board that processes the operating logic and a "Slave" board that executes the commands sent by the Master.
WARNING!: for both cases defi ne, before performing all the connections, the Master leaf and the Slave leaf.
MASTER LEAF: the fi rst one that opens, the last one that closes (in case of off set)
SLAVE LEAF: the last one that opens, the fi rst one that closes (in case of off set).
Connect the two terminal boxes of the selector to ensure the communication between the two boards and the proper operation of the two automations.
Set on the MASTER board and on the SLAVE board the values listed in the table:

Depending on whether the leaf movement needs to be off set or not, set the following values:
- synchronous leaves on MASTER board, parameter 21=0 and 22=0 (applying to case B)
- non-synchronous leaves on MASTER board, parameter 21> 0 and 22> 0 (applying to cases A and BD)

OPERATION
DESCRIPTION
Piloting is allowed (along with the relevant logics) on both boards, like
Electric lock
for single automations.
It can be activated on both boards, like for single automations.
Push & Go
If an attempt to open a leaf is detected, both will open.
Managed separately and independently by both boards.
- If a board detects the activation of an anti-crushing function during
closing, it stops the motion of both leaves and slowly moves them to
the fully open position.
Anti-crushing
- If a board detects the activation of an anti-crushing function during
safety functions
opening, it stops the motion of the relevant leaf and slowly moves
them to the fully closed position. The other leaf, which meanwhile
has reached the fully open position, shall wait for the leaf concerned
to fi nish before proceeding with the closing stage.
WARNING!:
- the two automations must be connected to the same power supply branch;
- no switches or fuses must be interposed between the two operators;
- any existing devices (KEY, START 1, START 2) must only be connected to the MASTER board;
- the safety sensors (SAFE OPEN and SAFE CLOSE), instead, must be separately connected and managed on both boards;
INSTALLATION MANUAL
DESCRIPTION
In this logic the controls connected to START 1 and START2 are disabled. Opening and closing are manual. The opening
and closing safety sensors are only active in case of motor opening for disabled people.
EXIT ONLY RADAR: Only the START 2 input of the electronic control board is monitored. A signal from a sensor connected
to this input causes the leaf to open and then to close. The locking of the door in its closed position by lock or motor (if no
lock has been selected) depends on the lock type in use and on the setting of parameter 14.
ENTRY AND EXIT RADAR: Both the START1 and the START2 inputs of the electronic control board are monitored. A signal
from a sensor connected to one of these inputs causes the leaf to open and then to close. The locking of the door in its
closed position by lock or motor (if no lock has been selected) depends on the lock type in use and on the setting of
parameter 14.
The door is locked in its closed state. The automation issues the full leaf closing command. In this logic the START1 and
START2 inputs of the electronic control board are not monitored; if present, the electric lock locks the leaf. If there is no
electric lock, the door is locked using the motor.
The door is locked in its open state. The automation issues the full leaf opening command. In this logic the START1 and
START2 inputs of the electronic control board are not monitored.
While opening, the leaf bumps into an obstacle that stops its motion. The automation stops for a few seconds the motion
of the leaf, then fully closes it back at reduced speed. The sensitivity value can be changed by editing parameter 06 (see
the paragraph "Display operating parameter management").
While closing, the leaf bumps into an obstacle that stops its motion. The automation immediately reverses the motion of
the leaf and fully opens it back. The leaf shall then close back at reduced speed. The sensitivity value can be changed by
editing parameter 06 (see the paragraph "Display operating parameter management").
