9.1 General troubleshooting and problem solving
NOTICE!
Some fault messages always require the pump to be sent to the customer
service department because the messages relate to control levels that can
be accessed only by this department.
Refer to the information under

Fault description
Dosing pump is not working.
No suction in the pump despite venting
and max. stroke.
Dosing head is leaking, medium coming
out through the diaphragm rupture outlet.
No dosing despite full dosing container.

Cause
Mains cable damaged.
Incorrect voltage.
Deposits, sticking valves,
drying out of valves.
Dosing head is loose.
Diaphragm ruptured.
Suction lance float is blocked.
Suction lance connector or
link connector is loose or not
inserted.
Defective suction lance cable.

Remedy
Change mains cable.
Check mains voltage.
Flush out the dosing head via the
suction tube; if necessary, also
remove the valves and clean or
replace them.
Tighten the dosing head fixing
screws crosswise.
Replace diaphragm.
Make the float functional.
Tighten connector, clean contacts,
check that the link connector is
inserted.
Replace empty signal device.
