7.3 Venting the metering pump
CAUTION!
Particular caution is required when handling chemical metering media.
Metering media can escape, which can cause skin irritation, depending on
their properties. Therefore, before venting, always read the product data
sheet of the metering medium to prevent any type of injury.
1. Open the vent screw by approximately 1 turn.
2. Keep a suitable collecting basin under the air bleed connection.
(See Ä Chapter 5 'Structure' on page 28 .)
3. Press the Test button

5. Close the vent screw again.
6. Press the Test button
through the metering line up to approximately 2 cm in front of the injection
valve.
until the metering medium is discharged from the air
pressed for a further 60 seconds so that the pump head
again until the metering medium visibly passes
Repeat the venting process if no metering medium enters the metering
line.
