STATUS OF THE "F1" KEY

To view the configuration of the "F1" key (ref. 11 – Fig. 1, page 132), proceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the display.
One of the following is shown in the "parameter" field:
• "OFF" The "F1" key is disabled (not usable).
• "REL A" The "F1" key is configured to control the switching of relays on the IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards (a relay with clo-
sed contact and/or a relay with open contact ). Indicates the first association of this type (relay control) made on the "F1",
"F2", and "F3" keys.
• "Play 1" The "F1" key is configured to control playback of an audio signal (message or tone) stored on the hard disk of the CP 3100
control unit. Indicates the first association of this type (message/tone playback) made on the "F1", "F2", and "F3" keys.
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (STATUS OF THE F2 KEY).
3b) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (STATUS OF THE GENERAL CALL KEY).
3c) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.

STATUS OF THE "F2" KEY

To view the configuration of the "F2" key (ref. 11 – Fig. 1, page 132), proceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the display.
One of the following is indicated in the "parameter" field:
• "OFF" The "F2" key is disabled (not usable).
• "REL A" The "F2" key is configured to control the switching of relays on the IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards (a relay with clo-
sed contact and/or a relay with open contact ). Indicates the first association of this type (relay control) made on the "F1",
"F2", and "F3" keys.

"F1", "F2", and "F3" keys.
• "Play 1" The "F2" key is configured to control playback of an audio signal (message or tone) stored on the hard disk of the CP 3100
control unit. Indicates the first association of this type (message/tone playback) made on the "F1", "F2", and "F3" keys.
• "Play 2" The "F2" key is configured to control playback of an audio signal (message or tone) stored on the hard disk of the CP 3100
control unit. Indicates the second association of this type (message/tone playback) made on the "F1", "F2", and "F3" keys.
