The following messages appear when there is no zone selection in progress.
b.
Indicates that a problem has occurred in the communication between the console and the control unit. The same message is also shown
the first time the console is switched on, but in this case no communication alarm is indicated on the CP 3100 control unit, as it is simply
a configuration transmission taking place.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• This message can only be displayed if communication between the console and the control unit has already been established.
c.
Indicates a malfunction on the BM 3616 console.
d.
Indicates that a malfunction has occurred on a component of the system other than the current console.
e.
Indicates a power supply problem on the console (cables, 24 V power supply, audio power in the console).

DISPLAY OF STORED PARAMETERS

The following procedures make it possible to view the current status of the operating parameters on the display. When the menus for stored
parameter display are being used, certain console keys are specially configured to control the actions indicated in the table below.

ADDRESS

To view the address associated to the console (address 1-16), proceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The following message is shown on the display, where the "parameter"
field shows the address number currently assigned (e.g. "ADDRESS = 4").
In this menu, it is possible to change the address assigned to the console as described in the section "CONSOLE ADDRESS ASSIGN-
MENT".
2a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (CHIME SIGNAL STATUS).
IMPORTANT NOTE
• It is not possible to go to the next menu using "F3" when the address assigned to the console has been changed.
2b) Press "F1" or "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.
