To access the trimmers, proceed as follows.
1) Unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom of the console.
2) Remove one plastic side piece by loosening the 2 respective screws.
3) Remove the lower closure panel of the console by sliding it out from the guides on the frame.

CONFIGURING THE INTERNAL JUMPERS

The analogue board inside the console includes jumpers that are used for configuring various functions (Fig. 4, page 133), as indicated in the
table below.

NOTE
• To adjust the effect of the expander for local playback when it is activated, use trimmer "E" (Fig. 3, page 133) as described in the section
"ADJUSTING THE INTERNAL TRIMMERS".
To access the internal jumpers, proceed as follows.
1) Unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom of the console.
2) Unscrew the 4 screws on the two plastic side pieces.
3) Remove the two plastic side pieces.
4) Remove the lower closure panel of the console by sliding it out from the guides of the frame.
5) Unscrew the screws that attach the analogue electronic board to the frame. The jumpers are situated on the side of the board not in view
(Fig. 4, page 133).
REPLACING THE PROTECTION FUSE
A protective fuse "E" (fig. 3, page 133) is located inside the console. The fuse must only be replaced by qualified personnel or by the rcf
service centre, respecting the characteristics indicated in the "specifications" section. Proceed as follows to access the fuse.
1. Unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom of the console.
2. Remove one of the side pieces by unscrewing the 2 screws.
3. Remove the lower closure panel of the console by sliding it out from the guides of the frame.

USING THE CONSOLE

SWITCH-ON

When the console is switched on, the following message initially appears on the display:
After a few seconds, the message is replaced with:
This message remains until the system is configured by means of switching on the CP 3100 control unit or by means of the menu commands
on the control unit. When the system is configured, as soon as the console receives the configuration parameters (see the section "PARA-
METERS SENT FROM THE CONTROL UNIT), two beeps are emitted in sequence, after which one of the two messages below appears on the
display.
