CHIME SIGNAL STATUS

To view the number of tones (from zero to three) of the signal to precede microphone announcements, proceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message shown below appears on the display.
One of the following numbers appears in the "parameter" field:
• "0" - The console does not produce any pre-announcement signal.
• "1" - The console produces a 1-tone pre-announcement signal.
• "2" - The console produces a 2-tone pre-announcement signal.
• "3" - The console produces a 3-tone pre-announcement signal.
In this menu it is possible to change the number of tones of the pre-announcement signal as described in the section "CONFIGURING
THE PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT SIGNAL".
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (STATUS OF KEYS 1-8).
IMPORTANT NOTE
• It is not possible to go to the next menu using "F3" when the number of tones for the pre-announcement signal has been changed.
3b) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (ADDRESS).
3c) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.

STATUS OF KEYS "1-8" (ZONES/GROUPS)

To view the status of the numerical keys from "1" to "8" (ref. 1 – Fig. 1, page 132), used for selecting audio zones or groups of zones, proceed
as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameters" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the display.
The field "parameters" shows 8 digits, zero or one, each of which is related to one of the 8 console keys. Starting from the left, the first
digit is related to key "1", the second to key "2", and so on up to the eighth digit which is related to key "8" of the console. The digit "1"
indicates that the console key is enabled; "0" means that the key is disabled (not usable). If, for example, the display shows: "ZON 1:8 =
11110000", this means that keys "1", "2", "3", and "4" are enabled, and keys "5", "6", "7", and "8" are disabled.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• If the message "UNPROGRAMMED !" appears when the console is switched on, the status will probably appear as "ZON 1:8 =
00000000" (no key enabled).
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (STATUS OF KEYS 9-16).
3b) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (CHIME SIGNAL STATUS).
3c) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.

STATUS OF KEYS "9-16" (ZONES/GROUPS)

To view the status of the numerical keys from "9" to "16" (ref. 1 – Fig. 1, page 132), used for selecting audio zones or groups of zones, pro-
ceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameters" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message shown below appears on the console display.
The field "parameters" shows 8 digits, zero or one, each of which is related to one of the 8 console keys. Starting from the left, the first
digit is related to key "9", the second to key "10", and so on up to the eighth digit which is related to key "16 of the console. The digit "1"
indicates that the console key is enabled; "0" means that the key is disabled (not usable). If, for example, the display shows: "ZON 9:16
= 10000001", this means that keys "9" and "16" are enabled, and keys "10", "11", "12", "13", "14" and "15" are disabled.
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (STATUS OF GENERAL CALL KEY).
3b) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (STATUS OF KEYS 1-8).
3c) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.

STATUS OF THE "GENERAL CALL" KEY

To view the configuration of the "GENERAL CALL" key (ref. 13 – Fig. 1, page 132), proceed as follows.
1) Press and release "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the screen.
One of the following is shown in the "parameter" field:
• "OFF" The "GENERAL CALL" is disabled (not usable).
• "ON" The "GENERAL CALL" is enabled.
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (STATUS OF THE F1 KEY).
CHIMES = (parameter)
ZON 1 : 8 = (parameters)
ZON 9 : 16 = (parameters)
GEN. CALL = (parameter)
