Do not use the cable for purposes for which it is not meant. Protect the
cable against heat, oil and sharp edges. Do not use the cable to pull the
plug from the socket.
Regularly check the saw cable and if damaged, have it renewed by a
recognised skilled electrician.
When running the connection line observe that it does not interfere, is not
squeezed, bended and the plug connection does not get wet.
Regularly check the extension cables and replace them if they are
damaged.
Do not use any defective connection cables.
When working outdoors, only use extension cables espe-cially approved
and appropriately labelled for outdoor use.
Do not set up any provisional electrical connections.
Never bypass protective devices or deactivate them.
Only hook up the machine by means of a fault-current circuit breaker (30
mA).
The electrical connection or repairs to electrical parts of the machine
must be carried out by a certified electrician or one of our customer
service points. Local regulations – especially regarding protective
measures – must be observed.
Repairs to other parts of the machine must be carried out by the
manufacturer or one of his customer service points.
Use only original spare parts. Accidents can arise for the user through
the use of other spare parts. The manufacturer is not liable for any
damage or injury resulting from such action.
Assembling
Assembling the frame and jigging device
A1
Lay down the pre-assembled device unit (1) on the ground.
Fold the frame apart and fix the braces (2) with screws. ( Insert the
screws in the direction of the arrow.)
Afterwards, attach only on one side a washer A8.4 on the screw.
Stand up the pre-assembled device unit (1) on the ground.
A2 A3
Attach the jigging device (5) to the device unit (1). Tighten the
screws on the jigging device only by hand and then slacken the
nuts by a half turn. The jigging device must move freely.
A4
Firmly tighten the screws on the brace.
Assembling the recuperating bolt
B1
Install the recuperating bolt (6) with the recuperating spring (10)
only by hand on the bracket (c).
B2
Pull out the securing cotter pin (9) and insert the recuperating bolt
through the hole of the bracket (b).
B3 B4
The recuperating spring (10) must rest on the bracket. Fix
the bolt using the securing cotter pin (9).
B5
Tighten the nut M8 firmly and slacken it then by a half turn.
Assembling the switch
C
Fasten the switch (4) onto the switch base (a).
Assembling the safety chain
D
Fasten the safety chain at the jigging device (5) and frame.
Assembling the saw blade casing and saw blade
E1
Release the locking nut (17) and pull off the flange (14 / 16).
E2
Insert the screws through the hole of the saw blade casing
(13). Afterwards, attach washers on the screws.
E3 E4 E5
Mount the saw blade casing (13). Fasten the casing with
washers and nuts.
E6 E7
Insert the saw blade cover (7) in the guide of the jigging
device and secure it using the screws.
E8 E9 E10
Fasten the guide (d) of the saw blade cover.
Tighten the screw only by hand and then slacken the nuts by
a half turn. The guide must move freely.
12
E11
Slide the saw blade flange (16) on the motor shaft.
E12
Danger of cutting! Wear gloves.
Mount the saw blade.
Pay attention to the saw blade's sense of rotation
(note the arrow on the saw blade and on the saw blade
casing).
E13 E14
Slide the saw blade flange (14) and the washer on the motor
shaft . Secure these parts using the locking nut (17).
E15 E16 E17
Mount the cover (18).
Assembling the handles
F
Screw the handles (19) on the jigging device.
Assembling the support extension
G1
Insert the support extension (20) into the jigging device. Secure the
support extension with the star grip knob (21).
G2
Fasten the chain (8) onto the support extension.
Assembling the length stop
H
Insert the length stop into the jigging device. Secure the length stop
with the star grip knob (21).

Before the first start-up

To achieve flawless functioning of the machine, please follow the
instructions listed:
Place the saw at a location which meets following conditions:
outdoor
secured against slipping
free of vibrations
even
free of tripping hazards
adequate light
 To ensure a safer foothold when working with the saw secure the saw
against rolling away.
Before each use, check
connection cables for defects (cracks, cuts, etc.)
Do not use any defective cables.
that the plastics insert is in a proper condition
the saw blade for flawless condition
the functioning of the jigging device
Do not use any cracked saw blades or such that have changed their
shape.
Do not use any saw blades made of HSS steel.
Immediately replace a worn or damaged plastics inserts.
 Assume the correct work posture. Stand in front of the operating side
frontally to the saw blade line.
Start-up
Rotational direction of the saw blade
Ensure that the rotational direction of the saw blade is the same as
the rotational direction given on the saw blade casing (13).
Selection of saw blades
Consider when selecting the saw blade, that no edgeless or damaged saw
blades are used and that the diameter of the blade location hole is 30 mm
(note the nameplate on the machine).

Mains connection

Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate e.g. 230 V with the
mains voltage and connect the machine to the relevant and properly earthed
plug.
Use a shockproof plug, mains voltage 230 V with residual current
circuit breaker (FI switch 30 mA).
