Pay attention to the gauge of the blade guard "S" which is
etched at the side of the blade guard.
The width of the groove cut of the saw blade shall not be less
than and the thickness of the body of the saw blade shall not be
more than the thickness of the riving knife.
Mains connection
Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate e.g. 230
V with the mains voltage and connect the saw to the relevant
and properly earthed plug
Alternating current motor:
Use a shockproof plug, mains voltage 230 V with residual
current circuit breaker (FI switch 30 mA).
Main fuse: 10 A inert
Use an extension cable in compliance with IEC 60 245 (H 07
RN-F) having a core cross-section of at least:
1.5 mm2 for cable lengths up to 25 m
2.5 mm2 for cable lengths over 25 m
On / Off Switch
8
Do not use any device where the switch can not be
switched on and off. Damaged switches must be repaired or
replaced immediately by the customer service. Damaged
switches must be repaired or replaced immediately by the
customer service.
Switch on
Press the green button ( I ) on the switch.
If there is a power cut, the machine switches off
automatically. Push the green ( I ) button to start the
machine again.
Switching off
Press the red button ( 0 ) on the switch.
Dust/chip exhaustion
The wood dust generated during operation impedes the
necessary view and is harmful to health to some degree.
If the machine is not used in the open air, a shavings exhausts
must be attached to the exhaust outlet (e.g. small transportable
dust remover).
Chip exhaustion
Connect a chip exhaust system or small vacuum cleaner
with suitable adapter to the chip exhaust neck (26) (Ø 35 mm) 5.
Air velocity at the exhaust neck of the saw ≥ 20 m/sec

Adjusting the saw

Splitting wedge setting
The splitting wedge is an important safety device as it
prevents the workpiece from recoiling
To guarantee the function of the splitting wedge, its distance
from the toothed wheel its distance from the teeth of the saw
blade above the table must not be more than 5 mm.
Set the cutting height
Adjust saw blade pitch
1. Loosen the clamping screws (12).
2. Turn the handwheel (19) until the required angle is shown
3. Tighten the screws again.
Adjusting the angle indicator:
1. Turn the machine off and unplug the power cord.
2. Use an angle stop to align the saw blade vertically.
3. Loosen the screw (A) and slide the angle indicator to the 0°
Fitting and adjusting the transverse stop

Pull the mains plug before performing
settings.

1. Proceed as follows to adjust the blade guard
correctly:
2. Loosen the screw (27) and pull the protective cover
(10) off the blade guard.
3. Loosen the screws of the table insert (11) and
remove them.
4. Slightly loosen the screws (32).
5. Adjust the blade guard (8) as shown in figure 13.
6. Pay attention that the blade guard is aligned with the
saw blade in a straight line.
7. Retighten the screws (32) firmly and reattach the
table insert and the protective cover.
The protective cover must move freely.
14
The cut height can be adjusted stepless from 0 - 43 mm
using the crank (15).
Set the cutting height 5 mm higher than the material
thickness.
14
The saw blade must not be set to the inclined position
when the blade is turning. The motor must be switched
off first.
