Commissioning

Mains connection
Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate e.g.
220 - 240 V with the mains voltage and connect the saw to the
relevant and properly earthed plug
Alternating current motor:
Use a shockproof plug, mains voltage 220-240 V with
residual current circuit breaker and 10 A inert fuses.
 Use connection cable or extension cable respectively with a
cross section of at least 1 mm².
Switch on/off
Do not use any device where the switch can not be
switched on and off. Damaged switches must be repaired
or replaced immediately by the customer service.
Switching on

Adjusting the saw

Replacing the saw blade
Before replacing the saw blade remove the
plug from the mains.
 Do not use any cracked saw blades or those that have
changed their shape
 Only use well-sharpened saw blades
You can keep non-used saw blades in the saw
blade box (11).
Saw blade (with pins)
1.
Pusch the table insert (4) out of t he table.
2.
Flip up the quick clamp (12) and turn it to the left to
release the saw blade (17).
3. Press down the upper saw blade mounting (15) and remove
the saw blade from the saw blade mountings (15)(16).
4. Install the new saw blade in reverse order.
Insert the saw blade always in that way that the teeth
show in direction of the saw table.
5. Clamp the saw blade by turning the quick clamp (12) to the
right (clockwise) and flip it down.

Saw blade without pins
1.
Pusch the table insert (4) out of t he table.
2. Flip up the quick clamp (12) and turn it to the left to release
the saw blade (17).
3. Press down the upper saw blade mounting (15).

Use an Allen key to loosen at first the upper and

then the lower screw (d)/(e) of the saw blade mountings
(15)/(16).
5. Install the new saw blade in reverse order.
Insert the saw blade always in that way that the teeth
show in direction of the saw table.
6. Clamp the saw blade by turning the quick clamp (12) to the
right (clockwise) and flip it down.

Insert the table insert (4).
Adjust pitch
The table insert must not be set to the inclined
position when the blade is turning. The motor must
be switched off first.
Adjusting between 0° - 45°
1.
Release the set screw (9).
2. Incline the saw table to the left until the required angle is
indicated on the angle scale (10) (0° - 45°).
3. Tighten the set screw (9) again to fix the adjusted angle.
Make a test cut when accuracy work is required and
adjust the grade again as the case may be.
Inner Cuts
The motor must be switched off.
Carrying out inner cuts
1. Remove the saw blade as described under "Saw blade
exchange" (page 20).
2. Bore a hole into the work piece to be handled (app.
Ø 6 - 7 mm).
3. Put the work piece with the bore hole over the access hole
of the saw table.
4. Guide the saw blade through the bore hole and insert it at
the top and the bottom in the saw blade mounting and
clamp it.
5. After the inner cut take out the saw blade as described
under Saw blade exchange.
LED light
This scroll saw is equipped with a LED light that can be freely
positioned.
Before sawing, position the LED light (18) so that the
working area is well illuminated.
Do not directly view into the LED light. Otherwise there
is a risk of retina damage.
