firm
level
non-slip
vibration-free.
Keep the site free of tripping hazards.
Ensure adequate lighting conditions.
2. Do not operate the circular saw bench in a moist or wet environ-
ment, nor in the vicinity of combustible liquids and gases.
3. The circular saw must only be operated with all the correctly
mounted guards.
The supplied splitting wedge must be used. Fig. 40 of the "As-
sembly Instructions" shows how the splitting wedge is inserted and
reset.
4. To ensure reliable and safe operation in closed rooms, the circular
saw bench must be connected to a sawdust extractor (e.g. a small
portable dust extractor).
Air velocity at the extractor connection: at least 20 m/s.
Pressure below the atmosphere: 1,6 kN/m² (1600 Pa)
5. Keep children well away from the circular saw bench, and never
leave it unattended.
6. Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to operate the circular
saw.
7. The operator is responsible for other people within the working

Local rules and regulations, particularly those concerning protective
measures and labour safety, must be observed.
13. It is impermissible to use wobble saws and groove-milling cut-

15. Use a pushing stick when rip sawing narrow workpieces (space
between saw blade and rip fence less than 120 mm). Fig. 59
16. Ensure that cut-off parts cannot be caught in the teeth of the saw
blade and forcefully hurled out.
Never use the hands to remove sawdust, chips and waste from the
danger area of the saw blade.
17. Renew the table insert if the sawing gap is damaged or worn out.
18. Always switch off the machine and disconnect the plug from the
mains socket under the following conditions:
Repair work
Maintenance and cleaning work

Normal intended use

The circular saw bench is exclusively intended for rip sawing and
cross cutting solid wood and composite boards such as particle
boards, chipboards, coreboards, etc., with a square or rectangular
cross-section, and using CV and HM circular saw blades for this
purpose. The use of saw blades made of high-speed steel (HSS) is
impermissible. The saw blade diameter must be between 300 and
315 mm.
Cross cuts may only be performed in conjunction with a mounted
cross-cutting fence.
Normal intended use also includes the observance of the manufac-
turer's operating, maintenance and repair conditions, as well as
strict adherence to the safety inspections listed in the instructions.
Any other use does not conform with the normal intended use of the
circular saw bench. The manufacturer is not liable for any resulting
damage; the user bears all risks!
