Connection (without OneSystem IO module N5950)

Damage to property due to varying earth potentials: very great differences in potential can arise when
using several switched-mode power supplies on different outer cables, such as when connecting with an
access control system.
This can destroy the protective wiring at the external input designed for a maximum of 30 V.
The external input (grey wire) must be activated with the same earth potential as the zero volt input
of the internal lock electronics.
If the electric multi-point lock 819N is connected without the optional OneSystem IO module N5950, a
control input is available for unlocking. Status messages are not sent.

Connection with OneSystem IO module N5950
If the electric multi-point lock 819N is connected to the optional OneSystem IO module N5950 ("Accessories",
page 78), there are many additional options for use and control.
During operation with the IO module N5950, the function of the external control input for unlocking
(Fig. 13) is deactivated ("No reaction to control signal", page 81)
