Function and operation
Operation with additional escape door locking
When operated with an additional escape door locking device (Fig. 6) the door can be opened from inside
under the following conditions:
· The alarm has been triggered (emergency button pressed) or
· the key switch has been operated.
The escape door lock has been installed as an additional locking device.
Via the OneSystem IO module N5950, the escape door locking device can be combined with the electric
multi-point lock 819N, which provides a range of advantages:
· The door is doubly secured from outside, because it is locked by the escape door lock and the electric
multi-point lock 819N,
· authorised unlocking of the door from outside is possible with the locking cylinder in the same manner
as a normal lock,
· the two locking systems can be released simultaneously by a superordinate control system,
· with the fail-locked version, the door remains secured from the outside even in the event of a power
failure.
