Connecting of cable connectors
Warning:
Great force upon the cable connectors can lead to irreparable damage of the individual
connectors and cables. A damaged cable connector will lead to an irreparable, com-
plete failure of the Rohloff E-14 Shifting system. Ensure connectors between Rohloff
E-14 Shifter Unit and cable harness are secured correctly to the frame. Make sure that
cables are unable to collide with moving bicycle components such as spokes, brake
rotors etc.
Connect the E-14
SPEEDHUB mounted E-14 Shifter Unit.
Attention:
Read the section – 'separation of cable connectors!
Install the Bosch eBike System battery in accord-
ance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Switch the Bosch eBike System on in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions.
Both male and female cable connectors are em-
bossed with an arrow Hold both connectors directly
in front of one-another, ensuring the two arrows
both point towards each other. Gently push both
male and female connector together and rotate
lightly back and forth until they „click" into position.
Do not force these together as that could damage
the connector Pols!
Push both male and female connectors into each-
other to their bed-stop.
