Wheel removal – A12 axle versions
The A12 securing bolts with their respective Nordlock washers, need to be fully re-
moved from both sides of the SPEEDHUB in order to remove the wheel.
A loud "crack" noise will be created by the Nordlock washers as they are loosened.
These washers must be replaced after every 4th time the wheel is re-fitted, in order to
uphold the locking attribute and ensure correct function (Art.#8574: 4x Nordlock®
washers).
Pay close attention to which side of the SPEEDHUB the removed hardware belongs
as safe wheel installation is only guaranteed if refitted correctly.
The Nordlock washers only function as a pair so ensure you have two per side when
re-fitting the SPEEDHUB wheel
Attention:
Be sure to keep the component parts on the right and left side separate, as the com-
ponents have different dimensions.
Numerous alternative combinations may also be plausible due to the complexity and
volume of individual thru-axle solutions on offer.
