APPROPRIATE DISHES
MICROWAVE FOIL
or heat-resistant foil is quite suitable for covering or
wrapping. Please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
COOKING BAGS
can be used in the microwave oven. However, metal
clips are unsuitable for closing them, as the cooking
bag foil can melt. Use string to close the bag and
pierce the cooking bag several times with a fork. Non
heat-resistant foil, e.g. cling film, is not recommended
for use in a microwave oven.
SUITABLE DISHES FOR COMBINED
USE
You can use every type of heat-resistant dish (e.g.
porcelain, ceramics or glass) for combined use
(microwave + grill) and grilling. Metal dishes can only
be used for pure grilling. Do not use any kitchen or
baking paper when grilling or when using bottom heat.
It can overheat and catch fire.
METAL
not defrost or cook too quickly (e.g. chicken wings).

should not be used as a rule, as
microwaves do not penetrate metal
and so cannot reach the food.
However, there are exceptions:
small strips of aluminium foil can be
used to cover parts so that they do
Small metal skewers and aluminium
covers (e.g. for ready-prepared
meals) can be used. However,
they must be small in relation to
the food, e.g. aluminium covers
must be at least
food. It is advisable to refill the food into crockery
suitable for microwave cooking. When using aluminium
covers or other metal dishes a minimum distance of
approximately 2.0 cm must be kept from the cooking
enclosure as otherwise this can be damaged by the
possible production of sparks.
NO CROCKERY WITH A METAL
COATING
Do not use crockery with metal parts or metal inserts
e.g. with screws, edges or handles.
CROCKERY SUITABILITY TEST
If you are unsure whether your
crockery is suitable for use with your
microwave, carry out the following
test: put the crockery in the device.
Put a glass container filled with 150
ml of water on or next to the dish.
Operate the device for 1 to 2 minutes at 100 P (800 W
which is 100 % power. If the dish stays cool or lukewarm,
it is suitable. Do not perform this test for a plastic dish.
It could melt.
