Basic recipes and preparation instructions

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:
When boiling milk, potatoes or pasta, there is always a risk of boiling over. Therefore,
do not leave the device unattended and, if necessary, reduce the temperature in time.
Steaming vegetables
Ingredients
at least 500 ml of water or stock
Vegetables (as desired)
Preparation
1. Add water or stock to the mixing bowl.
2. Mount the steamer adapter on the mixing bowl and add the vegetables. If necessary,
use the intermediate panel (place vegetables with a longer cooking time in the steam-
er adapter and vegetables with a shorter cooking time in the intermediate panel) and
put the lid on.
3. Steam at 120 °C with the level set to 0.
The cooking time depends on the vegetables. Potatoes need to be cooked for about
30 minutes, vegetables such as broccoli or caulifl ower need to be cooked for about
10 minutes. Therefore, regularly check whether the vegetables are cooked through
while preparing them.
NOTICE: 250 ml of water/stock are needed for every 15 minutes.
Mashed potatoes
Quantity:
4 servings
Preparation time: approx. 35 minutes
Ingredients
1000 g potatoes (mealy), peeled and cut into pieces
150 ml water
30 g butter
150 ml milk
Salt, nutmeg (to taste)
Preparation
1. Put all ingredients in the mixing bowl and cook them at 90 – 100 °C at level 0L for
about 20 – 25 minutes. Insert the measuring cup.
2. Finish by switching off the temperature supply and puréeing briefl y at a higher level.
Slowly increase the speed to do so.
