PLEASE NOTE!
■ CAUTION – Scalding hazard due to spraying of hot food being mixed! Before
fi tting the steamer adapter, make sure that the sealing ring is properly fi tted, is clean
and not damaged to ensure that the steamer adapter is fi tted on the mixing bowl so
as to provide a proper seal. If the sealing ring is damaged, quickly replace it, however,
no later than every two years in any case.
■ The mixing bowl lid must not be inserted when using the steamer unit.
■ Only use the steamer unit with this device. It must not be used in the microwave, oven
or with other devices.

The steamer unit consists of a steamer adapter, intermediate
panel and lid. It is suitable for gently cooking food with hot
steam.
• The sealing ring must be seated in the groove along the
edge of the steamer adapter. Put it in if this is not the
case. Use the steamer adapter without the intermediate
panel to steam a larger quantity of the same food.
• Insert the intermediate panel in the steamer adapter to
cook a larger quantity of the same food and prevent it from
heaping (e.g. yeast dumplings) or to cook different foods
at the same time (e.g. vegetables and meat). Make sure
that the food with a longer cooking time is at the bottom
and food with a shorter cooking time is at the top.
• The steamer adapter is fi tted on the open mixing bowl in-
stead of the mixing bowl lid: Place the steamer adapter on
the mixing bowl so that the catch of the steamer adapter is
located on the right next to the handle of the mixing bowl,
then turn it clockwise all the way to the stop point. On the
opposite side, the spout must be pushed into the second
catch in the steamer adapter.
Turn the steamer adapter slightly counterclockwise to take
it off of the mixing bowl.
• Always place the lid on the steamer adapter.
