Mixing bowl

The food being blended or cooked is processed and heated in the mixing bowl.

The mixing bowl lid seals the mixing bowl. To prevent the food being processed or
cooked from spraying out, only operate the device once the lid has been properly fi tted
and locked.

PLEASE NOTE!
■ CAUTION – There is a danger of scalding from hot items that are being mixed
splashing out! Before putting on the lid, make sure that the sealing ring is properly
fi tted, is clean and not damaged to ensure that the lid is properly sealed and that
liquids or foods being cooked are not able to spray out between the mixing bowl and
lid. If the sealing ring is damaged, quickly replace it – however, no later than every
two years in any case.

The marks in the mixing bowl indicate the fi ll quantities
in increments of 0.5 litres.
The maximum fi ll quantity of the mixing bowl
amounts to 2 litres. Do not exceed it! There is
a scalding hazard due to spraying of hot food being
mixed. The mixing bowl could also overfl ow during op-
eration.
1. Place the mixing bowl with the handle forward (towards
the release button) in the mixing bowl receptacle on the
motor unit.
2. Push it down applying gentle pressure until it audibly locks
into place.
• Depress the release button and at the same time, pull the
mixing bowl out of the motor unit.
• The sealing ring must be seat-
ed in the groove along the
edge of the lid. Put it in if this is
not the case.
