Connection of bus connection to pump control
("SCe NWB" version only)
The bus connecting cable of the pumps can be
connected to the terminals in accordance with the
circuit diagram. Use a shielded CAN cable (charac -
teristic impedance 120 ohm) – connect the shield
on both sides (use EMC threaded cable glands on
the switchgear).
The individual pump frequency converters are
connected in parallel to the bus cable in accord -
ance with the circuit diagram. The cable should
be terminated at each end to prevent signal
reflexions.
See the circuit diagram (for the SCe switchgear)
and the installation and operating instructions of
the pumps (for the frequency converter) for the
settings required for this.
Do not connect any external voltage to the
terminals!
7.2.4 Pressure transmitters (sensors; supply and
output pressure)
Connect the transmitters to the terminals in
accordance with the circuit diagram.
• Use a shielded cable, connect the shield on one
side in the switchgear – use EMC threaded cable
glands (FM/WM) and shield clamps (BM).
NOTICE:
• An output pressure sensor with a voltage signal
(0/2 – 10 V) can be used.
The following jumper setting should be selected
on the base board in this case:
and the corresponding setting in menu 5.2.2.0
should be made.
Do not connect any external voltage to the ter -
minals!
7.2.5 Analogue input for remote setpoint adjustment
(except "SCe NWB")
Remote adjustment of the setpoint is possible
using an analogue signal (4...20 mA) by means of
the corresponding terminals in accordance with
the circuit diagram.
Use a shielded cable, connect the shield on one
side in the switchbox – use EMC threaded cable
glands (FM/WM) and shield clamps (BM).

7.2.6 Setpoint changeover

Using the corresponding terminals in accordance
with the circuit diagram, it is possible to force a
switchover from setpoint 1 to setpoint 2 by means
of a potential-free contact (normally open contact).
Do not connect any external voltage to the
terminals!

7.2.7 External activation/deactivation

Using the corresponding terminals in accordance
with the circuit diagram, it is possible to connect a
remote activation/deactivation by means of a
potential-free contact (normally closed contact)
after removing the converter bridge
(pre-assembled at the factory).

deactivation

Do not connect any external voltage to the
terminals!

7.2.8 Protection against low water level

Using the corresponding terminals (in accordance
with the circuit diagram), it is possible to connect
a function for protection against low water level
by means of a potential-free contact (normally
closed contact) after removing the converter
bridge (pre-assembled at the factory).

water level

Contact open:
Do not connect any external voltage to the
terminals!

7.2.9 Collective run/collective fault signals (SBM/SSM)

Potential-free contacts (changeover contacts) for
external signals are available via the correspond -
ing terminals in accordance with the circuit
diagram.
Potential-free contacts, max. contact load
250 V~ / 1 A, min. contact load 12 V / 10 mA
WARNING! Danger of electric shock!
There can be a potentially fatal voltage on these
terminals, even when the main switch is
switched off.

7.2.10 Display of actual value of output pressure

A 0 to 10 V signal for an external measurement/
display option of the current actual value of the
output pressure is available via the corresponding
terminals in accordance with the circuit diagram.
0 to 10 V corresponds to the pressure sensor sig -
nal 0 to pressure sensor limit value. e.g.
