Cut and slide a 1/8-inch (3mm) piece of silicone tubing on a
nylon clevis, then thread the clevis on the elevator pushrod.
Connect the clevis to the center hole of the control horn. The
pushrod will position the control horn the correct distance
away from the fuselage. Set the control horn back from the
bevel 3/32 inch (2mm). Mark the locations for the control horn
mounting screws.

Use a pin vise and 1/16-inch (1.5mm) drill bit to drill the holes for the control horn mounting screws. Thread an M2 x 10 self-
tapping screw into each hole to cut threads in the surrounding wood. Apply a small amount of thin CA to harden the threads
made in the surrounding wood. Secure the control horn to the elevator. Install a control horn on both the left and right elevators
at this time. With the servo centered, adjust the clevis so both the right and left elevators are centered. Once the elevators are
centered, slide the tubing over the forks of the clevis to secure the clevis to the control horn.

liaisons.

Place the engine mounting template in position on the
fi rewall. Use a drill and 1/16-inch (1.5 mm) drill bit to drill the
pilot holes for your particular motor.
