Use a pin vise and 1/16-inch (1.5mm) drill bit to drill four
holes in the tail gear cover. Locate the holes so they are 1/8
inch (3mm) from the edges of the cover.

Trim the length of one of the M2 x 10 screws to 1/4 inch
(6mm). Place the cover into position. Mark the location for the
cover screws using a pencil. Thread an M2 x 10 self-tapping
screw into each hole to cut threads in the surrounding wood.
Apply a small amount of thin CA to harden the threads. Secure
the tail wheel access cover to the fuselage. The location for
the 1/4-inch (6mm) screw is indicated in the photo.

Replacez la trappe en position. Marquez la position des trous

taraudeuse Mx10 dans chacun des trous pour tailler les fi lets
dans le bois. Appliquez une petite quantité de colle CA dans
les trous pour durcir les fi lets. Fixez la trappe. L'emplacement
de la vis raccourcie à 6mm est indiquée sur la photo.

Using hemostats or vise grips to hold a piece of music wire,
heat the end of the wire using a small torch. Use the wire to
melt the covering for the wing dowels in the leading edge of
the wing.

Use sandpaper to sand a light chamfer on the ends of the
wing dowels. Use epoxy to glue the wing dowels into the
leading edge of the wing.
