The following message appears.
RESTORE MEMORY IMAGES? YES/NO
This message appears when you turn on the power
for the first time after you have turned off the power
with the message "SAVING IMAGES" displayed.
This message asks you whether or not image data
and all of menu settings stored in the on-board
"Memory Stick" are to be loaded into the printer.

To load image data into the printer memory, select
YES.
If you don't want to load image data in to the printer
memory at this time, select NO.
Even if you select NO, you can load the data into
the printer memory later.
For detailed information, see "Loading all of the
image data and menu settings from the on-board
"Memory Stick" into the printer manually" on page
72.

Press the EXEC button.
When you select YES in step 2: the message
"READING IMAGES..." appears, and then another
message "RESTORE FINISHED" appears.
The normal screen appears.
When you select NO in step2: the normal screen
appears.
Note
When the message "SAVING IMAGES" appears, all of
current menu settings are stored in a on-board "Memory
Stick", in addition to image data. When image data are
loaded from the on-board "Memory Stick" into the
printer, all of the menu settings are also loaded.
Storing all of the image data and menu
settings currently set in the printer in the
on-board "Memory Stick" manually

Display FUNCTION SETUP menu from the
PRINTER SETUP menu.

Select STORE IMAGE by pressing the F or f
button.

Select STORE by pressing the G or g button.

Press the EXEC button.
The message "SAVING IMAGES..." appears.
When this message disappears, the normal screen
appears. Go to the next operation.

Note
In this case, image data and menu settings stored in
the "Memory Stick" are overwritten.
Loading all of the image data and menu
settings from the on-board "Memory
Stick" into the printer manually

Display the FUNCTION SETUP menu from the
PRINTER SETUP menu.

Select STORE IMAGE by pressing the F or f
button.

Select RESTORE by pressing the G or g button.

Press the EXEC button.
Loading starts and the message "READING
IMAGES..." appears. Then another message
"RESTORE FINISHED" appears.
When this message disappears, the normal screen
appears. Go to the next operation.
Note
When the message "READING IMAGES"
appears, all of the current menu settings stored in
the on-board "Memory Stick", in addition to stored
image data are loaded from the on-board "Memory
Stick". The image data and menu settings currently
set in the printer are overwritten.
Notes on "Memory Stick"
• A "Memory Stick" slot is built in the right side inside
the front door. If a "Memory Stick" is not inserted
here, the printer cannot save image data or load data.
Do not remove the "Memory Stick".
• The "Memory Stick" is provided to store the image
data of the printer. You cannot make printouts of
image data stored via a digital camera or computer.
• If you lost a "Memory Stick", prepare a "Memory
Stick" that exceeds 32 MB in capacity.
• The printer does not support "Memory Stick PRO"
and "Memory Stick PRO Duo".
