Instruction for use
Modeling
Modeling with a minimum thickness of 0.3mm on simple structures and 0.5mm in complex cases or with patients with bruxism. Avoid elbows.
Manufacturing
Separate the milled structures from the disk with tungsten carbide burs or with separating discs, clean with ultrasonic and acetone or bioalcohol to
eliminate any oil residues from the working process. Continue manufacturing process using tungsten carbide burs.
Stress relief heat treatment
As a first step we recommend a thermal relaxation treatment at 1030° for 7 minutes in vacuum (from 1 to 3 elements), while if we have more than
4 elements, we increase to 12 minutes. Once removed from the oven, the product must be sandblasted using 110 to 150 μm aluminum oxide as
dis posable material with a pressure of 3-4 bar. Steam and check that the surface has a homogeneous grey surface. After cleaning, the framework
should not be touched anymore and should be held with clamp forceps only.
Re-use
The device can be reused until the available material is exhausted.
Ceramization
For synthetic ceramics it is possible to use Bonding. Apply the ceramic, following its manufacturer's instructions. For natural/feldspar ceramics,
it is recommended to fire for 1 min under vacuum at 980°C. Do not to use bonding and use directly the opaque diluted with distilled H2O. In both
cases, perform slow and longterm cooling. It is recommended to open the oven below 500°C. For detailed information, please refer to the instructions
for use of the veneering material. Please only use veneering materials that have compatible CTE with DD Bio CW.
Soldering
We suggest using MAGNUM SALDATURA Co to weld.
Waste disposal
The processing scrap must be disposed of as special waste in accordance with the EC directives 2008/98/CEE on waste, and 94/62/CEE on packaging
and packaging waste and in compliance with national legislation in force on the subject.
