The two main wheels of the landing gear (1) are pulled from
the holder downwards, and then the four battery compart-
ment screws (2) are removed.
After then removing the two fastening screws (1) at the right
and left, the mechanics can be taken from the fuselage
downwards.
Practical advice:
It has proven a good idea to screw in the four battery com-
partment screws (see figure 35) again after disassembly and
to plug on the main landing gear.
This turns the mechanics into a compact unit again and
makes it stand securely during maintenance work (also see
figure 34).
Installing the mechanics
To install the mechanics, remove the four battery compartment screws and the two main landing gear wheels (see
figure 35) again.
If you have slid the mechanics into the fuselage from below, first turn in the four battery compartment screws again.
Install the remaining parts of the helicopter in reverse order than at disassembly.

Important:

Do not exert any force when installing the mechanics, and tighten the screws with care.
The wire pin (see figure 33, item 1) that connects the rotor head to the rotor shaft must be pushed in until it protrudes
by the same distance from either side of the rotor head.
