b) Attaching the Attachment Parts
Insert the elevator (1) into the prepared slots at the right
and left of the end of the fuselage according to the adjacent
figure.
The wheel shaft covers (2) are attached to the wheel houses
(3) laterally.
The front plastics attachment parts (4) are also attached to
the corresponding openings at the fuselage tip (5).
The fit of the attachment parts is accordingly tight, so that
additional securing with glue is usually not required.
c) Checking the Rotor Blade Retainer
To allow the two main rotor blades (1) to orient themselves
at a 180° angle to each other during operation, the two blade
retainer screws (2) must not be tightened too firmly. If you
pitch the model helicopter to the side by 90°, the rotor blades
must be able to fold downwards on their own as illustrated
in the adjacent figure.
Attention!
Do not loosen the fastening screws too much; if
you do, the tracking of the two rotor blades will
no longer correspond, and the blade tips may
run at different heights.
