Selecting the Audio Output
Mode
You must setup the audio output mode
correctly, if not, you will not get the audio
outputs. The default setting is ANALOG.
To listen to the sound from speakers, select
ANALOG
< ANALOG: If the SPEAKERS outputs on the
g/t/5/b
rear panel are connected with speakers
directly, or the AUDIO OUT (2 RCA jacks)
is connected with a receiver, select this
item.
< SPDIF/RAW: If the COAXIAL or OPTICAL
output on the rear panel is connected
with a receiver built-in Dolby Digital, DTS
or/and MPEG decoder, select this item.
< SPDIF/PCM: If the COAXIAL or OPTICAL
output is connected with a recorer which
accepts PCM audio signal, select this
item.
1 Press the SETUP button to enter SETUP
MENU. Use the 5/b buttons to select
GENERAL SETUP (see page 86), and then
press ENTER button.
2 Highlight AUDIO OUT using the 5 /b
buttons, then press the t buttons to go
to the right option list. Select ANALOG,
SPDIF/RAW or SPDIF/PCM using the
5 /b buttons, then press the ENTER
button to confirm your selection.
3 Press the SETUP button again to exit
menu.
Notes:
< If the SPDIF/RAW is selected and the
audio source is LPCM (DVD), the outputs
in the COAXIAL and OPTICAL are PCM.
< If the SPDIF/RAW is selected and the
audio source is audio CD, the outputs in
the COAXIAL and OPTICAL are PCM.
< If the ANALOG is selected or the head
phones are pluged, the COAXIAL and
OPTICAL will not have audio outputs.
< If your speaker system does not match
your AUDIO OUT setting, you will not be
able to enjoy the true original sound.
< When playing a CD with no blank intervals
recorded between songs, there are
occasions when audio available at
DIGITAL OUT stops momentarily.

Choisir le mode de sortie audio
Vous devez régler le mode de sortie audio
correctement, sinon il n'y aura pas de son.
Le réglage par défaut est ANALOG.
Pour écouter le son produit par les haut-
parleurs, choisir ANALOG.
< ANALOG: Si les sorties de haut-parleurs
sur le panneau arrière sont branchés
directement, ou le AUDIO OUT (2 prises
RCA) est branché à un récepteur, choisir
cet item.
< SPDIF/RAW: Si la sortie COAXIAL ou
OPTICAL du panneau arrière est
branchée à un récepteur ayant un
décodeur incorporé Dolby Digital, DTS
et/ou MPEG, choisir cet item.
< SPDIF/PCM: Si la sortie COAXIAL ou
OPTICAL est branchée à un enregistreur
qui accepte des signaux audio PCM,
choisir cet item.
1 Appuyer sur la touche SETUP pour
engendrer le menu SETUP. Utiliser les
touches 5 /b pour choisir GENERAL
SETUP (voir page 86) et ensuite appuyer
sur la touche ENTER
2 Rehausser AUDIO OUT utilisant les
touches 5/b et ensuite appuyer sur la
touche tpour aller vers la liste d'option
à droite. Choisir ANALOG, SPDIF/RAW ou
SPDIF/PCM utilisant les touches 5/b,
ensuite appuyer sur la touche ENTER
pour confirmer votre choix.
3 Appuyer sur la touche SETUP de nouveau
pour quitter le menu.
Remarque:
< Si SPDIF/RAW est choisi et la source
audio est LPCM (DVD), les sorties
COAXIAL et OPTICAL sont PCM.
< Si SPDIF/RAW est choisi et la source
audio est audio CD, les sorties COAXIAL
et OPTICAL sont PCM.
< Si ANALOG est choisi ou que le casque
d'écoute est branché, les sorties
COAXIAL et OPTICAL non pas du son.
< Si votre système de haut-parleur ne
correspond pas à votre réglage de AUDIO
OUT, vous ne pourrez pas jouir du son
véritable original.
< Lors de la lecture d'un disque CD qui ne
comporte pas d'intervalles blancs entre
les morceaux, il y a des circonstances où
la sortie par la prise DIGITAL OUT s'arrête
momentanément.
