(Listening to the Radio)
To listen to non-preset radio stations
Use manual or automatic tuning in step 2.
For manual tuning, press the TUNING (b/5)
buttons repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold the
TUNING (b/5) buttons until the frequency
indicator starts to change automatically,
then release the button.
If an FM program is noisy
Press the FM MODE button on the remote
control so that "MONO" appears on the
front panel display. There will be no stereo
effect, but the reception will improve. Press
the button again to restore the stereo effect.
To improve reception
Reorient the supplied antennas.
To display the RDS messages
(European Model)
When the received station is a RDS one, the
"RDS" indicator will illuminate on the front
panel display.
At this time, you can use the DISPLAY button
to view the following messages of the
station on the front panel display,
usually with their abbreviation: station
frequencywstation namewprogram type.
Notes
< If the station is not a RDS one, "NO RDS"
will appear on the front panel display
when pressing the DISPLAY button.
< If the RDS station has not got a station
name, "NO NAME" will appear on the
front panel display when pressing the
DISPLAY button.
< If the RDS station has not got a program
name, "NO PTY" will appear on the front
panel display when pressing the DISPLAY
button.
< If the signal of the station is weak, the
above messages may not be displayed, or
the display may be incorrect.

(L'écoute de la radio)
Pour l'écoute d'un poste de radio non pr-
é-réglé.
Utiliser la syntonisation manuelle ou
automatique de l'étape 2.
Pour la syntonisation manuelle appuyer sur
les touches TUNING (b/5) répététivement.
Pour la syntonisation automatique, appuyer
et tenir sur les touches TUNING (b /5 )
jusqu'à temps que l'indicateur de fréquence
commence à changer automatiquement,
ensuite relacher la touche.
Si un programme FM est bruyant
Appuyer sur la touche FM MODE de la
télécommande afin que "MONO" apparait
sur l'afficheur du panneau avant. Il n'y aura
pas d'effect stéréo, mais la réception sera
améliorée. Appuyer sur la touche de
nouveau pour revenir à l'effect stéréo.

Ré-orienter l'antenne fournie
Pour afficher les messages RDS
(Modèle europe)
Si le poste capté est un poste RDS,
l'indicateur 'RDS" s'allume sur l'afficheur du
panneau avant.
A ce point, vous pouvez utilisés la touche
DISPLAY pour voir les messages suivants du
poste sur l'afficheur du panneau avant.
Habituellement, avec leur abréviations:
fréquence du postewnom du postewgende
de programme.
Remarque
< Si le poste n'est pas un poste RDS, "NO
RDS" apparait sur l'afficheur du panneau
avant quand vous appuyez sur la touche

< Si le poste RDS n'a pas de nom, "NO
