5.1.1.2.3. Adjusting/engaging the pantograph arm's brake

This setting is used for all the operators.
Perform the following steps from the GENERAL SETTINGS menu:
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the one for "Adjusting
the arm's brake" .
• Press multifunction button OK to enter the selected submenu which contains
the icons for the adjustments that can be made:
Engaging the pantograph arm's brake.
Engaging the pantograph arm's brake.
• Once adjusted as required, press multifunction button ESC to quit the
submenu automatically saving the settings entered.
Engaging the pantograph arm's brake.
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the one for "Engaging the
pantograph arm's brake".
• Press buttons INCREASE and/or DECREASE to enable or disable release
of the pantograph arm's brake.
NOTE: Icon ( A ) found at the top of the console display signals if
the brake cannot be disengaged. .
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
As an additional safety measure, this operation is mandatory if an
external electric scalpel needs to be used.
Adjusting brake sensitivity.
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the one for "Adjusting
brake sensitivity".
• Press buttons INCREASE and/or DECREASE to adjust sensitivity for
brake activation.
NOTE: the value which can be entered ranges from 1 to 5.
Use the fast selection buttons to automatically set the following values:
- MAX button: level 5,
- MED button: level 3,
- MIN button: level 1.
