• Press the MENU button with the instrument in its work position to select 3
different operating modes:
1) CONSERVATIVE (see paragraph 5.5.1)
- possibility to set a speed ranging from 100 to 50000 rpm regardless of
the reduction/multiplication ratio.
- possibility to set torque values ranging from 1 to 100%
- customized list of reduction ratios
- rpm variation mode can be changed over from variable to fi xed and
vice versa
- alarm signaled when maximum torque is reached
- maximum speed quickly reached during motor operation
2) ENDO (see paragraph 5.5.2)
- possibility to set a speed ranging from 100 to 600 rpm with value always
in reference to the burrs regardless of the reduction ratio
- possibility to set torque values ranging from 0.1 to 5.0 Ncm, excluding
the gearbox 1:1 (4.5 Ncm)
- customized list of reduction ratios
- rpm variation mode can be changed over from variable to fi xed and
vice versa
- progressive alarm signal starting from 60% of the maximum torque
- button for calibration during motor operation
3) SURGERY (see paragraph 5.5.3)
- possibility to set a speed ranging from 5 to 2500 rpm with value always
in reference to the burrs regardless of the reduction ratio (1:20 to 1:1000
gearboxes)
- possibility to set torque values ranging from 0.5 to 55.0 Ncm for certifi ed gearboxes or 1 to 100%
- customized list of reduction ratios
- alarm signaled when maximum torque is reached
- button for calibration during motor operation
• Press the right multifunction button ( ) with the instrument in its work position to go to the setup submenu regarding the operating mode currently used.
• The following values are displayed:
- torque value (set or actual) expressed in % or Ncm for certifi ed gearboxes.
- speed of operation of burrs (set or actual) expressed in rpm.
NOTE : the bar graph always shows the torque value expressed as a percentage in relation to the set/maximum allowable one.
ATTENTION!
The instrument is supplied non-sterile.
