5.9. Integrated laser L810

This is a diode laser for medical use.
Use.
• Operating times: 6 min. ON, 3 min. OFF.
• Place the instrument in its work position (the screen regarding laser ex-
traction appears on the display of the instrument board).

• When the foot control is pressed the fi rst time (see paragraph 5.2.) the
pilot beam is turned on and a buzzer rings intermittently at the same time.
NOTE: when the foot control is released, the pilot beam is emitted
for about 1 min. before it automatically shuts off (time-out).

• Press the foot control another time to turn on the laser beam. In this
case the buzzer will ring continuously.

• When the foot control is released, the LASER beam shuts off and the
pilot one automatically comes back on (a 1 min. time-out is always used).
NOTE: While the laser is functioning, the other instruments on the board
along with all dental chair movements are disabled.

• This laser device is classifi ed as a Class 4 laser.
Only expert personnel adequately instructed on safe operation may
operate this laser device.
• The laser beam should be directed on the patient taking all the required
precautions set forth by current safety regulations. Any other use or
use in any other way is considered erroneous use of the device.
• The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any consequences
deriving from incorrect use of the instrument, the specifi c use inclu-
des:
- observe the instructions given in the specifi c Operation and mainte-
nance manual.
- observe all national and international standards (CEI EN 60825-1,
2003-02).
