SECTION B2: INSTALLATION GUIDE

B2.1 Positioning your trophon

1. Ensure the surface can support the weight and allows adequate airflow (see Appendix 1).
2. Ensure the area around your trophon is free from other equipment and clutter. Position as
shown in Figure 6 to ensure access to all features.
3. Turn the back feet either clockwise or anti-clockwise to level (see Figure 2). Check feet are not
loose or missing.
The trophon EPR should be placed at a height from the floor level to accommodate a
range of user heights. Refer to Figure 7 for a guide to an ergonomically safe work zone
for most users.

B2.2 Cable Management System Installation

The Cable Management System (CMS) holds the ultrasound cable away from the chamber door, and
is storage for the cable during high level disinfection.
To install the CMS:
1. Open the chamber door.
2. Peel back the protective strip from the double sided tape on the bottom of the CMS (see Figure
8).
3. Align and slide the two hooks on the front of the CMS into the slots in the trophon chamber (see
Figure 9-1) until it cannot slide any further.
4. Push the CMS down on top of the trophon to secure it in place (see Figure 9-2).
