15. Keep repositioning the nut so the screw passes through the hole in
the main axle. Make sure the main axle is positioned so the notch in
the axle faces the bottom of the landing gear.
16. Thread another M3 nut on the screw. Continue repositioning the
screws until the screw head is against the rear axle support and the
screw passes through the front axle support.
17. Secure the screw using an M3 locknut. Use vise grips to hold the
screw head while tightening the nut using pliers or a 5.5mm open
end wrench. Tighten the locknut until it is against the front axle
support but does not distort the axle supports.
18. Thread the nuts against the axle supports. Place a drop of thread
lock on the screw on either side of the main axle.
19. Thread the nuts over the thread lock and against the main axle.
Check that the main axle is centered using the holes in the landing
gear wing as a reference. Use pliers/hemostats/5.5mm open end
wrench to lightly tighten the nuts against the main axle.
 Do not over-tighten these nuts. They are to keep the
main axle centered between the axle supports.

20. Place a drop of thread lock on an M3 x 3 setscrew. Thread the
setscrew into the shock cord collar and tighten it on the notch using
a 1.5mm hex wrench.
 It is very important this setscrew is tightened in the notch. This
tightens onto the inner shaft of the main axle and not the outer
tube. Failure to do so may result in lateral movement of the axle.
21. Prepare and install a second setscrew in the opposite end of the
shock cord collar.
22. Tie the shock cord to the rear axle support. Leave 1/2-inch (13mm)
of shock cord outside the knot so the opposite end of the shock cord
can be secure to it.
23. Wrap the shock cord under the shock cord collar on the main axle
and under the forward axle support.
24. Loop the cord over the forward axle support, under the shock cord
collar, then over the rear axle support.
