Door installation
Please refer to the picture section of the assembly in-
structions, meanwhile, follow the illustrations as
shown in the instructions.
The illustrations in these assembly
instructions depict the assembly of the door
version iso20-4 ZF. Unless otherwise
mentioned, the assembly steps and
explanations depicted also apply to the door
version iso45-5 ZF. Instructions deviating
from the ones shown are marked accordingly.
4.4.1 Set-up and positioning of the door
Before starting the assembly, remove the individual
components (rails, arches and packing bags) from
the door leaf.
Fig.

, page A2. Set up the pre-assembled door
leaf and place it behind the driveway opening. Secure
the door leaf against toppling over and align it hori-
zontally using the spirit level. Remove the carrying
aids afterwards.

Drill a dowel hole (Ø=10 mm) with a depth of
min. approx.  65  mm for the angle frames  (1R/1L) at
the top of the frame head as well as for the installa-

4.4.2 Preassembling the horizontal rail pairs
Fig.
a
Remove the transport screw from the corner
connection bracket  (20L/20R) and the angle frame
(1L/1R). Then pull the rail connector (6) out from un-
derneath the door leaf.

Disassemble the corner connection brack-
ets (20L/20R) from the rail connector (6).
Fig.
c
Mount the connecting plate  (18) with the
screws  (S12 and S17). In doing so, note that the
screw heads (S17) are mounted towards the inside to
the rail!
4.4.3 Mounting the rail pairs to the frame
Fig.
a
and Fig.
b
Connect the rail pair (14L/14R) to
the angle frame (1L/1R) by pushing the rail pair (14L/
14R) into the tail end  (16L/16R) and by fastening it
with the screws (S17).
Fig.
c
Upon assembly, support the rail pairs  (14L/
14R) at the rear end using suitable means, then hori-
zontally align the rail pairs (14L/14R).
Fig.
d
Mount the rail arches  (30) by screwing them
to the angle frames  (1L/1R) and to the connecting
plates (18) by means of the screws (S17 + S12).
NOTICE
Potential obstruction at the transition
to the rails.
Make sure there is no offset in the
transition between the guide rails. If ne-
cessary, slightly adjust the arch ends.
4.4.4 Suspending the horizontal rail pairs
Fig.
a
, page A5. Both rail pairs (14L/14R) are sus-
pended from the rear as wall or ceiling mounting, de-
pending on the material conditions:
Procedure  (A) for wall mounting if internal width
of the garage is up to max. width of basic dimen-
sion (WBD) + 500 mm for a central installation of
the door:
Fig.
b
In a first step, prepare two angle rails (31 or
32) by mounting the rail clip  (29) on the long leg.
When screwing it on, make sure the rail clip is able to
move freely. Use the screws  (S6 + S12) for as-
sembly.
Fig.
d
Mount the left-hand corner connection
bracket  (20L) on the left-hand side of the rail con-
nector  (6) and the right-hand corner connection
bracket (20R) on the right-hand side. It is best to use
the upper hole for the screw connection. Exception:
The drive requires the lower hole for assembly. The
assembly of the right-hand corner connection
bracket (20R) is shown as an example.
Fig.
e
Slide the two pre-assembled angle rails (31 or
32) as far as possible into the two ends of the rail
connector (6).
Fig.
g
Mount the rail connector  (6) to the track
pairs  (14L/14R) using the corner connection brack-
ets (20L/20R). Use two screws (S17) each.
These assembly, operation and maintenance instructions must be kept for the entire period of use!
