4.1.3.3.1 Assembly Instructions for Tapered Shaft
Encoders
a) Block the drive shaft for the assembly.
b) Tighten the fastening screw of the tapered shaft with a
3 Nm [2.21 ft-lb] torque.
c) Comply with the maximum permissible shaft offset.
d) Screw the stator coupling or the torque stop without pre-
load on the drive flange.
e) Tighten the screws with a 1 Nm [0.74 ft-lb] torque.
f) Secure the screws against loosening, see chapter
