Nevertheless, please ensure that the kit is complete,
and that all the components are undamaged. Please
understand that we cannot replace parts which you
have already modified.
A careful approach ...
is very important when you are building this helicopter. Built
and flown by skilled hands, the model provides plenty of fun
and satisfaction, but it is not a toy. It must be assembled
with care and a responsible attitude, and operated with
consideration for other persons.
Flying model helicopters is not all that difficult, but acquiring
the skill does take time, patience and practice.
If you are a beginner to model helicopters, we recommend
that you join your local model flying club and ask the club
members' advice, or discuss the matter with experienced
fellow-modellers or your local model shop staff. Please bear
in mind that we have absolutely no control over the way you
build or operate your model, and we are therefore obliged to
refute any complaints based on incompetent handling of the
model, and claims for compensation due to its inappropriate
use.
Helicopters are subject to various laws of physics, and the
dividing line between success and failure is often a fine one.
The PRO-Piccolo is the outcome of protracted
development, numerous tests and all of our experience. The
final stage - completing the model - is up to you. This
manual is designed to provide every assistance in this
endeavour. Please read the instructions carefully, keep
strictly to our recommendations, and carry out each stage
conscientiously.
Assemble the model as carefully as possible. If you are
not sure of any point, take a break to consider the
problem, or ask an experienced model flyer for advice.
Two heads are often better than one.

material defects for a period of 6 months from date of

flight times. However, they limit the model's aerobatic
capability (not suitable for inverted flight).
Incidentally:
You can easily transport the completed PRO-Piccolo in
the kit box. If you wish to do this we recommend that you
first remove the rotor blades and store them as shown.
:Symbols ...
In these instructions you will often see the following two
symbols, which are designed to draw your attention to
particular procedures. Key:
Take particular care here
Use cyano-acrylate (CA, cyano) adhesive
WARNING!:
Cyano-acrylate (CA, cyano) sticks skin and eyes in
seconds. If it gets into your eye, rinse immediately with
water and seek medical attention. Cyano must be kept out
of the hands of children. Do not breathe in adhesive fumes.
Always use the adhesive in a well ventilated space.
General:
This helicopter is small, and this makes it a very special
model which demands particular care. All components
are optimised for minimum weight, and must therefore
be handled carefully at all times.
Please follow these instructions meticulously, working step
by step. Before each stage check the parts involved for
any "flash" (excess moulding material), and remove sharp
edges carefully using a sharp knife and abrasive paper.
