3.4.1.2Connect Android Tablet and Acquisition Box via USB Cable
Android Tablet (hereinafter referred to as tablet) can only be connected with ECG acquisition box
via USB cable and OTG cable at the same time. The USB Master Port is connected with the acqui-
sition box, the standard port of the USB cable is connected with the USB wide Port of the OTG
cable, and the MINI USB port of the OTG cable is connected with the tablet. After the connection
between the acquisition box and the tablet is completed, open the ECG acquisition and analysis
software for Android Tablet, click 【Sampling】 for the first time, and the following dialog box will
pop up:
Select «Use by default for this USB device « and select 【OK】 to obtain the USB access authority
successfully.
Note: please choose the OTG cable model recommended by the manufacturer.
3.4.2 Connect PC and Bluetooth ECG Acquisition Box through Bluetooth
Bluetooth wireless acquisition mode is only applicable to PE-1204 and PE-1204A.
3.4.2.1 Use Bluetooth to Connect PC and Bluetooth ECG Acquisition Box
The computer installed with ECG acquisition and analysis software for Windows PC is connected to
the Bluetooth ECG acquisition box through Bluetooth, and the steps are as follows:
1) Open the battery compartment cover of the Bluetooth ECG acquisition box, correctly install two
AAA alkaline batteries, and then close the battery compartment cover.
2) Turn on the Bluetooth function of the computer or connect the Bluetooth adapter to the
computer (please choose the Bluetooth adapter model recommended by the manufacturer).
3) Press and hold the power button of the acquisition box, and release it when the power light,
Bluetooth connection status light and USB connection status light are all on.
4) Select Bluetooth on the computer, and the Bluetooth name of the Bluetooth ECG acquisition
box is «ECGMAC». Correctly connect them and ensure the successful Bluetooth pairing.
5) In the «Bluetooth and other settings» interface of the computer, click «more Bluetooth options -
COM port», click «COM port», and check the corresponding COM number of ECGMAC.
6) Select Bluetooth ECG Device in «Settings» - >»Device and Sample Settings» - >»Device» - > of
ECG acquisition and analysis software for Windows PC, set COM NO. The same with the COM
number of ECGMAC. The software then can obtain data from wireless signal through Bluetooth
transmission protocol.
Note :
1) The driver of Bluetooth adapter must be installed correctly.
2) When the Bluetooth ECG acquisition box is connected to PC via Bluetooth, you must choose
«Device» ->»Bluetooth ECG Device» and accurately input the Bluetooth outgoing COM num-
ber randomly assigned by the computer.
3) When Bluetooth is connected, the Bluetooth ECG acquisition box only supports power supply
from two AAA Alkaline battery. Please check that the batteries are installed correctly.
