6.4.3 Care and Maintenance of Patient Cable
 Check the patient cable is well-collected according to the following table. The resistor
between the electrode plug and plug pin of the patient cable plug should be less than 10Ω.
 Note: the resistance or of patient cable with the function of defibrillation is around 10KΩ.

 Check the integrity of patient cable;
 Knotting or crooking in closed angle will shorten the patient cable's life, so please align the
patient cable and then collect the electrodes;
 Do not drag or twist the patient cable with excessive stress while using. Hold the connector
plugs instead of the cable when connect or disconnect the patient cable;
 Storing the lead wires in bigger wheel or swinging to avoid twisting or folding;
 Once damaged or aged patient cable has been found, replace it with new one immediately.
6.4.4 Care and Maintenance of Electrodes
 Electrodes must be cleaned after use and be sure there is no remaining gel on them.
 Keep the suction ball of chest electrodes away from sunshine and excessive temperature.
  After long time use, the surface of electrodes will be oxidized because of erosion and other
causes. In this case, electrodes should be replaced to achieve high-quality ECG.

1. The software in the installation directory may be deleted by
mistake. Re-install ECG acquisition and analysis software for
Windows PC.
2. The computer has no Dongle. Insert the Dongle.
3. The USB interface inserted into the Dongle is damaged.
Change another USB port and insert the Dongle.
4. If the USB port has been changed, the software still cannot
be opened ,then change another Dongle.
1. Check whether the acquisition box driver is installed
successfully, and open the device manager to check whether
the acquisition box port displays a yellow exclamation mark.
If the yellow exclamation mark is displayed in front of the
port of the acquisition box, please install the acquisition box
driver manually. For the installation method, please refer to
number 16 of common troubleshooting of ECG acquisition
and analysis software for Windows PC
2. If the USB port of the computer is damaged, change
another USB port to insert the data cable.
3. If the data cable is damaged, change it.
4. If the acquisition box is damaged, change it.
