Intended use

The door code device 421-30-10 complies with the relevant European standards.
Adherence to the usual safety regulations for electrical devices of this type
ensures trouble-free and continuous operation.
The device is intended for surface mounting indoors. Do not expose to excessive
moisture, wet conditions or aggressive atmosphere.
The relevant provisions of the VDE and the local utility company must be
observed for the electrical connection.
The electronics of the device are largely protected against interference
by circuitry measures and by the metal housing. For these measures to
be effective, the "Special notes" in section ( "Electrical connection", page 34)
must be observed.
No modifications may be made to the electronics of the device.
