Connectable Devices

The device is designed to control a standard electric strike of the corresponding
electrical design (12 V DC voltage, maximum 250 mA current consumption).
However, since the output contact of the door code device is designed as a
potential-free changeover contact, other devices can also be controlled with it.
However, it is essential to observe the electrical data and specifications in the
installation instructions.

Incorrect code evaluation

After a certain number of keys have been pressed without the full number
combination of a valid code being included, the keypad input is blocked for
30 seconds.
This state of the device cannot be reset without opening the device.
The number of incorrect entries before the keypad is locked depends on
the length of the programmed codes. It is twice the longest code plus one.
For example, if a six-digit main code is programmed, a valid full-length code
must be entered at the latest when the thirteenth key is pressed. Otherwise,
the keyboard will be locked.

Operation and display function

The operation of the device is simple and does not require any special instruction
of the individual users.
· The device is always ready for operation in its normal state.
· The code can be entered directly.
· After entering the code, the output contact is activated immediately – the door
can be opened.
· The contact is activated by the green LED, which lights up as long as the contact
remains activated.
