General assembly instructions

The following is to be noted during assembly:
n
Mount the metering device at an easily accessible, frost-protected, adequately
illuminated and ventilated location, as close as possible to the building's water
distribution system.
n
The ambient temperature must not exceed + 40 °C. Avoid siting it close to heat
sources such as heaters, washing machines, dishwashers, boilers, cookers, or hot
water pipes.
The water temperature may not exceed 30 °C.
n
n
In order to avoid faults in the water meter of the metering device, a dirt filter must also
be installed.
n
A reverse-flow safeguard and a hot-water metering point with a cooling section
(see accessories) must be installed in downstream hot water systems.
n
We recommend that the device be installed between two gate valves
(installation diagram).
n
The injection point must be arranged in the direction of flow downstream of the water
meter.
n
So that the domestic installation is protected, ensure that there is a constant supply of
metering agent. Therefore, we recommend that you use an empty signal device in the
product container.
NOTICE!
The device must be installed in a horizontal position.
The directional arrow on the water meter housing must point in the
direction of flow. Refer to the schematic diagram during assembly!
